a) Describe your agency’s philosophy of providing services and supports to individuals with disabilities.

We provide assistive and adaptive equipment for level one and individual options waivers. We are happy to bid on any equipment even if we do not sell on our website. In the past we have sold through the waiver the following types of products:
bath lifts
security systems for wandering
special needs strollers
special needs car seats
positioning solutions
special needs beds and furniture
lift chairs
iPad apps
indoor swing and suspension kit (installed for client too)
outdoor swing frame (installing tomorrow)
Bouncing Chairs (delivery and set up included)
all manner of swings and OT equipment for calming, positioning, etc.
Rifton Activity Chairs - and assembled for client before therapist fitting

We are not working directly with individuals, but providing equipment. However, all staff are trained on how our equipment is used in the developmental disabilities community.

c) How are individuals with disabilities involved in selecting the agency’s staff that work with them?

We generally work with the county funding specialists or SSAs in providing pricing and info on adaptive and assistive equipment.

d) Describe your agency’s availability and flexibility in scheduling services and supports (days and hours available, areas of Lucas County willing to provide services, etc).

We provide competitive equipment quotes usually within 24-48 hours.
