a) Describe your agency’s philosophy of providing services and supports to individuals with disabilities.
We provide electronic device / computer products. Our products are for those who need assistance communicating and for those who want adaptive equipment for their safety, education, and community integration.
b) Describe your agency’s staff orientation and training process.
Our products under the "adaptive equipment" part of waivers do not need an orientation and seldom training. Although, training to show how to use a device is available for an additional cost., which may not be covered by the waiver. If the device would need to be installed or set-up, we could provide that service, again for an additional cost.
c) How are individuals with disabilities involved in selecting the agency’s staff that work with them?
d) Describe your agency’s availability and flexibility in scheduling services and supports (days and hours available, areas of Lucas County willing to provide services, etc).
We are available, by phone, 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.
1. After the family or the support coordinator calls for a product, we provide a quote for the needed computer equipment or electronic devices.
2. When the individual, family, or doctor determines the best product needed, the waiver is submitted to Ohio by Lucas County.
3. After the waiver is approved, we order the product and have it shipped to the individual.
4. Seldom does one of our technician come to the home for set up or training, although these services are available by appointment during work hours.

We can communicate with the individual or family over the phone and provide limited free assistance. If an on-site visit is necessary, an appointment would be made. There is a charge for on-site setup or training, which may not be covered by the waiver.

We provide communication devices such as IPADS, touch tablets, touch monitors, etc.
