I believe patience, caring, reliability, and consistency are the most important contributing factors to providing services and supports to individuals with disabilities. I pride myself on demonstrating these abilities to the greatest extent possible on a daily basis.

b) Describe yourself and your background/experience with individuals with disabilities.

I have worked in the direct care of DD individuals for almost 20 years, including over a decade working for Sunshine Children's Home.

c) Describe any specialized training or education you have received to prepare you to work with individuals with disabilities. Describe any areas of expertise.

I have years of all required trainings and meetings from past employment to further my knowledge of DD individuals and how to best accommodate them and their individualized needs.

d) Are you certified by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities to provide medication administration?

I am available every Monday through Friday between the hours of 8AM and 5PM as I currently provide Non Medical Transportation during those hours. I have flexibility in between driving times as well as intermittently in the evenings and on weekends so that I may work direct care hours as well, primarily in the Toledo/Maumee/Holland area.
